Against the backdrop of implementing the national strategy of cooperation between the east and the west, and comprehensively promoting the construction of a healthy China and rural revitalization, the Beijing Lianyi Charity Foundation recently signed a cooperation framework agreement with the Health Commission of Xianghuang Banner, Inner Mongolia. This cooperation is another expansion of the Beijing Lianyi Charity Foundation's charity projects in Aohan Banner, Keyouqian Banner, Keyouzhong Banner and other places in Inner Mongolia. It is an important measure to deepen cooperation in the medical and health fields between Beijing and Mongolia, and an innovative practice of social welfare forces and local health departments working together to promote the improvement of basic medical services.

The meeting pointed out that the signing of the agreement actively responded to the major decision-making and deployment of Beijing Mongolia cooperation since 1996, and further promoted the deepening and implementation of Beijing Mongolia cooperation in the field of medical and health care. Currently, consolidating and expanding the achievements of poverty alleviation and effectively connecting them with rural revitalization is an important task, and medical and health security is a key link in it. The cooperation between the Lianyi Foundation and the Xianghuang Banner Health Commission envisions using the assistance of children with congenital heart disease from low-income families as the starting point, gradually reducing the risk of poverty caused by illness and returning to poverty due to illness for local disadvantaged groups, providing strong health support for the rural revitalization of Xianghuang Banner, and helping Xianghuang Banner achieve comprehensive revitalization.
