老年健康研究中心成立于2015年，中心主任為柯楊教授、學術委員會主任為方偉崗教授，常務副主任為張拓紅教授，副主任劉梅林教授、陸林教授、尚少梅教授。中心于2022年換屆，常春教授任執(zhí)行主任。

隨著我國人口老齡化的發(fā)展和健康老齡化策略的制定，中心老年健康研究領域不斷擴展，旨在全面開展老年健康研究，助力我國健康老齡化戰(zhàn)略，貢獻健康老齡化中國經(jīng)驗。

老年健康研究中心將全方位、多視角開展老年健康研究，成為集科學研究、成果轉(zhuǎn)化、國際交流的多學科平臺。研究方向與領域具體包括：

1. 老年健康服務、保障、康養(yǎng)等相關政策研究，為政府決策提供科學依據(jù)。

2. 老年健康促進與健康管理研究，維護和改善老年人身心健康，提高老年人生命質(zhì)量。

3. 老年健康服務與技術真實世界研究與大數(shù)據(jù)研究，以研究證據(jù)支撐政策與服務。

4. 老年認知障礙評價與心理健康研究，為改善老年人認知功能、心理健康提供依據(jù)。

5. 老年健康影響因素研究：從遺傳、生物、環(huán)境等多維度研究衰老、衰老機制及老年健康影響因素。

6. 智慧養(yǎng)老與照護研究：運用大數(shù)據(jù)、人工智能等開展智慧康養(yǎng)研究，促進研究成果轉(zhuǎn)化及應用。

中心掛靠北京大學公共衛(wèi)生學院，合作單位包括北京大學第一醫(yī)院、北京大學第六醫(yī)院和北京大學護理學院；還與瑞典卡羅琳斯卡大學、德國漢堡大學、日本大阪大學、美國哥倫比亞大學等國際知名高校相關研究機構(gòu)以及國內(nèi)相關高校和機構(gòu)，包括國務院發(fā)展研究中心、中國疾病預防控制中心、中國人民大學、香港大學、首都醫(yī)科大學、301醫(yī)院、中關村新智源健康管理研究院等建立合作關系。中心現(xiàn)有兼職研究人員50余人，并將進一步發(fā)展壯大研究隊伍，開展創(chuàng)新研究和科研成果轉(zhuǎn)化。

近年來中心研究人員開展了多項有重大創(chuàng)新意義和價值的科研項目，獲得國家科技創(chuàng)新項目、科技部主動健康重點研發(fā)計劃、國家自然科學基金項目及其他省部級項目20余項，涉及老年認知與心理、老年照護、老年疾病治療、環(huán)境因素與老年健康、老年健康行為與健康促進等領域等。中心研究人員牽頭發(fā)布老年人血脂異常管理中國專家共識，主辦了中國老年心血管病論壇、老齡化與行為健康專題研討會、中國老年精神醫(yī)學與心理健康學術會議等，在Lancet。JAMA及老年健康領域國際、國內(nèi)具有影響力的學術期刊發(fā)表科研論文百余篇。

Center for Healthy Aging was established in 2015, the director of the center is Professor Yang KE, the director of the academic committee is Professor Weigang FANG, the executive deputy director is Professor Tuohong ZHANG, and the deputy director is Professor Meilin LIU, Professor Lin LU and Professor Shaomei SHANG. Since 2022, Professor Chun CHANG was appointed to succeed Professor Zhang Tuohong as Executive Director of the Center.

With the increasing of Chinese population aging and the implementation of “Healthy Aging Strategy” in China, the research field of the Center has been expanding. A multidisciplinary research team, comprising experts from both foreign and domestic famous universities and research institutions, has been set up. The aim of the Healthy Aging Center is to carry out the research on health of aging population and promote healthy aging in China and share the experiences of healthy aging in China with the world.

The Center will carry out comprehensive and multi-disciplinary research on geriatric health, and become a multidisciplinary platform integrating scientific research, achievement transformation, personnel training and international exchanges. Its specific research directions and fields include:

Research on health services, security and elderly care for the aging population to provide a scientific foundation for government decision-making.

Research on health promotion and health management for the aging population to improve the physical and mental health of the elderly and their quality of life.

Real world and big data research on health services and technology for the elderly to support policies and services based on evidence.

Research on cognitive impairment evaluation and mental health in the elderly provides evidence for improving their cognitive function and mental health.

Research on factors that impact the health of the aging population, including the mechanisms of aging and genetic, biology and environment.

Research on elderly care based on internet, big data and artificial intelligence, and promote the transformation and application of research evidence.

The Center is affiliated with the School of Public Health of PKU, and its cooperative units include the First Hospital, the Sixth Hospital the School of Nursing of Peking University. In addition, it has also cooperated with international well-known universities such as Karolinska University in Sweden, University of Hamburg in Germany, Osaka University in Japan, Columbia University in the United States, as well as relevant domestic universities and institutions. Including the Development Research Center of The State Council, the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Renmin University of China, the University of Hong Kong, Capital Medical University, 301 Hospital and Zhongguancun Xinzhiyuan Health Management Research Institute. The Center now has more than 50 part-time researchers, and will further expand the research team to carry out innovative research and the transformation of scientific research results.

In recent years, researchers of the Center have carried out a number of scientific research projects with great innovative significance and value, and won more than 20 national level projects, including the key projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, National Natural Science Foundation projects and other provincial and ministerial projects. It involves cognition and psychology of aging population, elderly nursing and care, geriatric disease treatment, environmental factors and aging, as well as elderly health behavior and health promotion, etc.

The researchers of the Center led the release of Chinese Expert Consensus on Management of Dyslipidemia in the Elderly, hosted the Chinese Forum on Geriatric Cardiovascular Disease, the Symposium on Aging and Behavioral Health, and the Chinese Academic Conference on Geriatric Psychiatry and Mental Health, etc., and published more than 100 scientific research papers in the Lancet，JAMA and influential academic journals in the field of geriatric health at China and the abroad.
