Objective To select the optimum psychological health service support plan for airborne troops in wartime. Methods All factors influencing the efficiency of psychological health service support to airborne troops in wartime were particularly analyzed by analytic hierarchy process(AHP). During the process,the hierarchy model was built and the preliminary plans were graded by the figure. According to the figure,the judgment matrixes were founded and the synthetic weights were obtained. Then the optimum plan was selected. Results The hierarchy figure of psychological health service support to airborne troops in wartime was built. All the results of consistent test were satisfactory. That meant all the consistency ratios of matrixes were less than 0.1(CR<0.1). The synthetic weights of the plans: D_1=0.9545,D_2=1.0629, D_3=0.7811. Conclusions The satisfactory result could be obtained in the alternative selection research of health service support. The optimum plan was D_2,that is,training military surgeons as part-time psychological workers in wartime. More attention should be paid to the construction of organization and command system. A lot of work on reifying the plan should be taken.
