This article reveals a mistaken idea in child-raising which deserves correcting. Most parents take it for granted that children should eat more animal foods such as chicken, meat and fish than grain food because the former are far more expensive and the more expensive the food is the more nutritious it is. However, this is, in fact, a mistaken idea which has lead to malnutrition among many city kids. This is indicated in a survey recently made in Shanghai.

What parents don’t know is that carbohydrate in grains, starch and sugar, the main and most inexpensive nutrient for energy supply, is of equal importance in metabolism. The energy it supplies is the main source of calories in human bodies,about 60% of the total amount of calories. If there is a lack of calories provided by carbohydrate, protein and fat will be used up to provide the heat and thus can’t play their original roles in the body. Consequently, it results in a retarded development in the children and even malnutrition.

總的原則和規(guī)律

一般來(lái)說(shuō)博士的英語(yǔ)作文一般都是給 闡述或陳述問(wèn)題的文章寫(xiě)摘要，如“吃早餐有利于身體健康”、“吸煙有害健康”、“中國(guó)大學(xué)生越來(lái)越能接受心理咨詢”、或“醫(yī)療體制的現(xiàn)狀”等等這樣文章，可使用以下的模版：

陳述問(wèn)題型文章，分三種類(lèi)型：

一、 正面陳述問(wèn)題

“吃早餐有利于身體健康”就是只從正面陳述問(wèn)題；

二、 負(fù)面陳述問(wèn)題

如“吸煙有害健康”這樣的文章，就是一般只說(shuō)明吸煙是有害的，只說(shuō)負(fù)面影響。

三、客觀的陳述問(wèn)題（正負(fù)面都有的）

如“醫(yī)療體制的現(xiàn)狀”等問(wèn)題，因?yàn)檫@樣的文章有好也有壞的方面，也就是有正面也有負(fù)面的問(wèn)題。又如04年的博士論文，就是對(duì)醫(yī)院?jiǎn)栴}的陳述，文章分別從洋醫(yī)院、民營(yíng)醫(yī)院和公立醫(yī)院幾個(gè)方面來(lái)闡述，分別說(shuō)明這幾種醫(yī)院各自的優(yōu)點(diǎn)和缺點(diǎn)，所以這樣的文章就是典型的客觀陳述事實(shí)的文章。

首先看看是什么樣的文章，再確定用什么模版來(lái)套用。（各個(gè)類(lèi)型我都做一套模版）

但是不管是哪個(gè)類(lèi)型的文章都不外乎這幾個(gè)步驟，切記，不要覺(jué)得無(wú)所謂啊

步驟一、確定一個(gè)好的題目

一般這個(gè)題目可以和中文標(biāo)題的翻譯一樣， 應(yīng)該是陳述性的詞組， 用“of” 、“and” 或“N 詞組加介詞短語(yǔ)”

(1) 如文章是陳述的一個(gè)事情或問(wèn)題，那就用什么的什么（sth1 of sth2）

如中國(guó)醫(yī)療體系的現(xiàn)狀： The State of Arts of Chinese Medical Care System 或醫(yī)療制度的改革： Reform of Chinese Medical Care System

Learn for practice

On campus, there are a special group of students. They live an ascetic monk’s life. They are reading endless fat books in the classroom while other peers having a lot of fun seeing a film with friends. They stay at a frowzy dissecting room all morning facing fragmentary and sickening dead bodies while other peers sit in on a class and fall asleep in the cosy atmosphere. They are reciting hundreds of clinical cases all night long while other peers celebrating for the graduation in the corner. These ascetic monks are our medical students.

After 5 to 7 or 8 years hard work on campus and several years’ internship in hospital, these poor students are allowed to working in a hospital with a meager salary. They work day and night,warding round, making medical orders, writing and discussing cases, performing an operation, making death certificate, birth records, contact higher authorities, explaining this or that to patients knowing nothing, having this or that meetings like a white-collar——to name just a few. The only similarity between life in college and hospital is busyness, endless busyness. Thanks for those hard university time, doctors can bear enormous pressure in hospital.
