何為帶狀皰疹？

帶狀皰疹被民間稱為“蛇纏腰”，是由水痘—帶狀皰疹病毒引起的一種感染性皮膚病。這個病發(fā)作時，會出現(xiàn)皮膚紅疹、水皰和疼痛。
shingles, also known as herpes zoster, is a contagious rash caused by varicella-zoster virus (vzv). shingles is characterized by a red rash, blisters and pain.
其疼痛程度高于女性生產(chǎn)，如果出現(xiàn)后遺神經(jīng)痛那更是“此痛綿綿無絕期”，可持續(xù)數(shù)月甚至數(shù)年。
shingles is more painful than childbirth. in worse cases, if postherpetic neuralgia occurs, the excruciating pain may last months or even years.
此外，帶狀皰疹還有可能引起眼炎、耳炎，面神經(jīng)炎，導致失明、失聰、面癱等。
moreover, shingles may also cause ophthalmitis, otitis, and facial neuritis, resulting in blindness, deafness and facial paralysis, etc.

帶狀皰疹得病的人多嗎？

在美國，99.5%的50歲及以上成人曾感染水痘-帶狀皰疹病毒，其中三分之一會患帶狀皰疹。目前我們國內(nèi)每年新發(fā)的帶狀皰疹病患大于156萬。

得過帶狀皰疹還會再得嗎？
is recurrence of shingles possible?
事實上帶狀皰疹痊愈后的復發(fā)并不少見，甚至有患者復發(fā)多次，年齡越大復發(fā)率越高。
in reality, developing shingles again after recovering is not uncommon; some patients even develop it multiple times. the bigger the age, the bigger the recurrence risk.
