戲劇教育專業(yè)簡介
一、 專業(yè)定位
本專業(yè)致力于培養(yǎng)在非藝術(shù)類大學(xué)藝術(shù)專業(yè)或中小學(xué)從事戲劇教育工作,以及將戲劇運用于其他社會教育領(lǐng)域的專門人才。專業(yè)要求學(xué)生能夠掌握戲劇教育的基礎(chǔ)理論和基本技能,熟悉戲劇教育發(fā)展的歷史和現(xiàn)狀,具有一定的美育的實踐和理論研究能力,具備較強(qiáng)的文化教育和社會活動策劃和管理能力,并系統(tǒng)掌握學(xué)科的基本理論與專業(yè)技能,有較高的文化藝術(shù)修養(yǎng),有較強(qiáng)的審美感覺和創(chuàng)造性思維。
二、 歷史沿革
本專業(yè)開創(chuàng)于2005年,是全國第一個以戲劇為特色的藝術(shù)教育專業(yè)。在市教委支持下,2013年成立上海市“立德樹人”綜合藝術(shù)教育實踐基地,系統(tǒng)研究上海市初中和高中階段的藝術(shù)課程。2015年成立上海戲劇教育與應(yīng)用中心,發(fā)揮本市文教結(jié)合平臺的作用,利用專業(yè)院校教育資源的優(yōu)勢,推進(jìn)戲劇教育教學(xué)發(fā)展,實現(xiàn)大中小學(xué)戲劇教育一體化。2019年3月,“戲劇教育”作為高校目錄外新專業(yè),獲得教育部批準(zhǔn),這是戲劇教育專業(yè)首次正式進(jìn)入中國的高等教育領(lǐng)域。
三、 特色優(yōu)勢
1、 中國特色的人才培養(yǎng)模式
本專業(yè)在充分研究國際經(jīng)驗的基礎(chǔ)上,建立了具有中國特色的戲劇教育人才模式.基礎(chǔ)階段注重學(xué)生表演、導(dǎo)演、編劇能力的培養(yǎng),高年級注重戲劇普及和推廣能力的培養(yǎng);形成了戲劇學(xué)和教育學(xué)相結(jié)合的課程體系。在教學(xué)內(nèi)容上,開發(fā)了融合戲曲和話劇的教育示范劇這一中國特色的戲劇教育方法,解決了戲劇教育在中小學(xué)普及的難題。
2、 國際視野的師資團(tuán)隊建設(shè)
絕大部分教師有海外留學(xué)背景,能進(jìn)行雙語教學(xué)。與英國、挪威、美國等國大學(xué)有著密切的國際交流,聘請外國專家教授前來授課,派遣本專業(yè)研究生或本科生前往相關(guān)大學(xué)交換學(xué)習(xí)。依托人類表演學(xué)的國際前沿學(xué)科優(yōu)勢,主編A&HCI國際期刊并發(fā)表了大量英文論文。
3、 服務(wù)社會的實踐教學(xué)體系
教師和學(xué)生走出校門,與大中小學(xué)校和社會工作機(jī)構(gòu)合作進(jìn)行實踐課程教學(xué),與全市各區(qū)17所戲劇教育特色高中有著緊密的聯(lián)系,在全市有多個戲劇教育實習(xí)實踐基地。為上海乃至全國培養(yǎng)了眾多戲劇教育種子教師,組織編寫了國家非統(tǒng)編中小學(xué)戲劇教材,帶領(lǐng)上海市優(yōu)秀藝術(shù)教研員,編寫了全套8本高中《藝術(shù)》教材。
Overview of the Theatre Education Programme
· Orientation
The programme aims to cultivate professionals who are committed to theatre educational work in art programmes of non-art universities and elementary and secondary schools, as well as those who wish to apply theatre to other social educational fields. It requires students to learn fundamental theories and basic techniques of theatre education, comprehend the history and current situation of the development of theatre education, improve practical and theoretical abilities in aesthetic education, and develop strong planning and management capabilities in cultural education and social events. Students will have a systematic command of fundamental theories and basic techniques of the discipline, with high cultural and artistic accomplishments, enhanced aesthetic awareness and creative thinking.
· History
Founded in 2005, this programme was the first theatre-featured art education programme in China. With the support of the Municipal Education Committee, it established Shanghai “Fostering Virtue through Education” art education practice base in 2013 to systematically study the art curriculum of middle schools and high school in Shanghai. In 2015, Shanghai Theatre Education and Application Center was founded to give full play to the role of the city’s cultural and educational platform and to promote the development of theatre education and teaching by taking advantage of the educational resources of specialised institutions, so as to achieve the integration of theatre education in primary schools, secondary schools and colleges. In March 2019, “Theatre Education” was approved by the Ministry of Education as a new programme of the university catalogue. For the first time, the theatre education programme officially entered the field of higher education in China.
· Advantages
Talent training mode with Chinese characteristics
Based on the full study of international experiences, the programme has built a talent training mode of theatre education with Chinese characteristics. It highlights the cultivation of student’s abilities of performing, directing and playwriting in the early stage and the development of abilities of popularising and promoting theatres in the senior grades, which constitutes a curriculum system combining theatre studies and education studies. In terms of teaching content, the programme has developed a theatre education method with Chinese features named educational demonstration plays, which integrates operas and stage plays, to solve the problem of popularising theatre education in primary and secondary schools.
Faculty with an international perspective
Most teachers have overseas study experiences and carry out bilingual teaching. The programme maintains a close international contact with universities in the United Kingdom, Norway and the United States, constantly inviting foreign experts and scholars to give lectures and sending postgraduates and undergraduates of our programme to relevant universities for exchange studies. Relying on the advantage of performance studies as an international frontier discipline, the programme publishes the international journal “A&HCI” and a large number of English papers.
Practical teaching system to serve the society
Teachers and students step out of the campus to cooperate with universities, schools and social institutions to conduct practical education. We have close connections with 17 theatre education featured high schools in Shanghai and have multiple theatre education practice bases. We have cultivated many seed teachers in theatre education for Shanghai and even the whole nation. In addition, we have organised the compilation of national non-unified theatre textbooks for primary and secondary schools and have led excellent art educators and researchers in Shanghai to compile a full set (8 volumes) of the high school textbook “Art”.
