The programme provides students with essential knowledge of health sciences in relation to public health, diseases prevention and nutrition. As there will be a huge demand for health professionals in Hong Kong in connection with an ageing population, graduates can work in both private and public healthcare settings.

課程特色

面對香港人口老化現(xiàn)象，社會對具備專業(yè)健康護理知識專才的需求日趨殷切。受過專業(yè)培訓的從業(yè)員有助持續(xù)推動家庭護理和社區(qū)健康服務(wù)行業(yè)的發(fā)展，以滿足居家安老的龐大需求。本專修涵蓋公共衛(wèi)生、健康教育、健康心理學、疾病預防和營養(yǎng)等層面，讓同學研習到廣泛的健康科學課題。課程特色包括：

辨識食物安全、環(huán)境安全、毒理學和人類健康的相互關(guān)係；深入認識防治疾病的保健食品、藥物、營養(yǎng)補充劑和衞生系統(tǒng)；裝備同學掌握專業(yè)健康護理從業(yè)員必備的營養(yǎng)學知識；透過社區(qū)非牟利機構(gòu)和醫(yī)院實習，鞏固所學知識，累積實戰(zhàn)經(jīng)驗。

就業(yè)前景

畢業(yè)生可投身各個健康護理行業(yè)，包括私人和公營醫(yī)療機構(gòu)，例如在醫(yī)院、學校、製藥公司、醫(yī)療實驗室、安老院、醫(yī)療診所和健康中心等擔任行政支援工作。
